The Youth Panels Feedback Exercise Giveaway

1. The Youth Panels Feedback Exercise Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is organised by the Government of the Republic of Singapore as represented by the National Youth Council ("NYC") and administered by Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. (“Mediacorp”) (collectively, “Organisers”). By participating in this Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which shall form a valid and binding agreement between you and the Organisers, and you agree to abide by the decisions of the Organisers with regard to this Giveaway.
2. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all segments of the Giveaway. By submitting your registration for this Giveaway, you agree to be bound by and to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all Rules, including any amendments, additions or modifications which may from time to time be made by the Organisers.

Eligibility

3. The Giveaway is open to all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents of Singapore.
4. Participants below 18 years of age must obtain consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to participate in the Giveaway, and shall provide the proof of consent and the particulars of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to the Organisers as and when requested by the Organisers.
5. The staff of the Organisers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Giveaway.

Giveaway Details and Prizes

6. The Giveaway starts from 24 August 2024, 8.30AM, GMT+8 and ends on 29 September 2024, 11.59PM, GMT+8 (“Giveaway Period”). All entries must be received by 29 September 2024, 11.59PM, GMT+8.
7. To participate in this Giveaway, you will have to submit your feedback for at least one of the youth panels’ recommendations at:

8. Eligible Participants stand a chance to win the following prizes, with a limit of one (1) winner for each prize:
   1. 1st prize: Apple iPad (256GB)
   2. 3 Consolation Prizes: Apple AirPods (3rd Generation)
9. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or in kind.
10. The Organisers may substitute, replace, withdraw or cancel any of the prizes at any time without notice and without liability.
11. The Organisers shall not be held responsible for the quality, service and standard of prizes from the participating brand.

Notification

12. The winners of the Giveaways will be notified through electronic mail (“e-mail”), at the e-mail address provided by the Participant at the point of entry within one week from the end of the Giveaway Period.
13. All personal details submitted must be accurate and are subject to proof upon request by the Organisers. The Organisers reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the eligibility of the winners. The Organisers may disqualify any entry that is not submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or which tampers with the entry process.
14. The Organisers reserves the right to select another Participant to replace a winner who is determined by the Organisers to be ineligible, disqualified, or uncontactable for any reason or who does not claim or collect their prize within the stated timelines.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

15. Participants consent to the Organisers’ collection of their personal data (including their names, email addresses and mobile numbers) for the purposes of this Giveaway.
16. Participants consent to the Organisers’ use of the personal data mentioned in Clause 15 or purposes related to this Giveaway and the Organisers’ future advertising, promotional and research purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
17. Participants who provide personal data also consent to the sharing of their personal data with the participating brands for purposes of delivery of the prizes.

Selection of Winners

18. The winners of the Giveaway will be determined based on the level of relevancy of the Participant’s feedback and quality of answers submitted.
19. Notwithstanding the above, the Organisers reserve the right to vary, modify or change such selection mechanism to comply with applicable rules, laws, regulations, and policies, without notice, obligation or liability. The Organisers are not obliged to provide reasons concerning the selection of the winners or to entertain any appeals whatsoever.

General

20. The Organisers reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions or to suspend/terminate this Giveaway at any time without prior notice.
21. The Organisers further reserve the right, without any liability to any Participant, to bar any Participant from this Giveaway at any time in their sole discretion.
22. Participants shall bear their own costs and expenses incurred and/or arising from their participation in this Giveaway and no reimbursement may be sought from the Organisers.
23. No obligation will be incurred by the Organisers or by their employees, officers, assigns and/or agents by reason of a person’s participation in this Giveaway or by reason of anything done or omitted to be done by that person as a result of or on account of this Giveaway. The Organisers (including their employees, officers, agents and assigns) shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage relating to or arising from this Giveaway (including any suspension or cancellation of this Giveaway) or any prize awarded, regardless of the cause and reason.
24. The Organisers’ decisions in respect of all matters regarding this Giveaway including the selection of the winners, are final, conclusive and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to such decisions.
25. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and Participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
26. No third party shall have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Party) Act 2001.
